I hold a Bachelor's degree in Speech from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, with a major in Film and a minor in Creative Writing. I studied the art of improv at The Hideout Theatre in Austin, TX and Impro Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.
I have worked in education and technology for over 20 years as a teacher, trainer, and instructional designer. At the same time, I have written three award-winning screenplays and have provided feedback on over 500 scripts for studios, screenwriting programs, and film festivals.
I am an expert public speaker and facilitator, as well a highly skilled improviser and performer. In developing web and app-based education programs, I have achieved proficiency in numerous digital and AI design tools, on both Mac and Windows computers. See resume for more detail.
